We got the opportunity to cover the Hindu wedding ceremony & reception of Sonam and Tarun. The wedding ceremony was recently organised at Stockley Park, a stunning wedding venue in West London. Sonam and Tarun made a very beautiful and dreamy couple. Their wedding was solemnised through traditional Hindu rituals and traditions and it was attended by a large number of guests, mainly close relatives and friends as well as some of our former and future clients.
Tarun looked dashing and elegant in his traditional attire
Tarun and Sonam wore traditional items of clothing during the wedding ceremony. Tarun looked dapper in his golden erect collar Sherwani that was embellished with brocade. He wore a red scarf with golden print on his shoulders. The short stubble gave him a rugged and very masculine look during the wedding ceremony.
Sonam was absolutely stunning in a dark pink Wedding Lehnga
Sonam looked like an angel wearing a traditional dark pink Lehnga Choli. She had covered her head with a pink Dupatta. All her garments were adorned with the help of golden brocade. She had matching bangles on her wrists and looked like a true royal bride. Her wonderful Kundan jewellery included a heavy necklace, Mang tika, and large earrings dangling from her ears.
Marriage was solemnized according to Hindu rituals
Tarun and Sonam performed all the rituals associated with a traditional Hindu wedding such as Saptapadi (exchange of seven marital woes), Jaimala, Kanyadan, Sindoor and Phere. All the guests were in a joyous mood and they cheered the couple through all these steps of the marriage. It was a majestic moment when Tarun placed Sindoor in the hair parting of Sonam who looked on and kept smiling all the time. During the Phere, all the guests threw flowers on the couple as they walked around the Havankund.
After the marriage, it was time for some fun as all friends and relatives (including the groom) danced to the tunes of popular Punjabi numbers and Dhol. There was an arrangement for sumptuous food and drinks and everyone enjoyed the occasion.
A relaxed and carefree couple
After the Hindu wedding ceremony, Tarun and Sonam decided to stroll in the park giving us great opportunity to take many photos of the beautiful couple in their traditional wear. It was a pleasant sunny afternoon and the couple was in a happy and relaxed mood. The couple sat under a tree for a while and gave beautiful poses for us to click natural photos. Tarun and Sonam later changed into their reception attire and walked around the grounds. We again clicked their photos in which Tarun can be seen wearing a tuxedo while Sonam is looking gorgeous in a one piece A line dress with lots of flair down the bottom.
All in all, it was an unforgettable wedding for us and we were able to capture many wonderful memories for the couple. We now look forward to seeing the couple next year on two of their friends weddings : )
