It was a privilege for The VIP Studio to get a chance to cover the wedding of the beautiful couple Dhivya and Amar. The wedding ceremony took place in Ditton Park Manor, a majestic wedding venue located in Berkshire, England. It was a truly memorable traditional Hindu, Gujarati wedding with everything planned and executed to perfection. We were very excited to provide our service of Indian wedding photography for this event.
All the ceremonies in this wedding were carried out according to Hindu traditions and culture. The wedding ceremony was attended by close family and friends. The centre of attraction was, of course, the bride and the groom. Dhivya and Amar both complimented each other well, with Amar giving a masculine look and Dhivya looking like a pretty doll draped in mesmerising dress and wonderful jewellery.
A cropped hairstyle and a short stubble turned Amar into a royal prince as he arrived at the hall wearing white and golden ethnic attire. It was a white Sherwani with erect collars and golden brocade used to do the embellishment. He wore golden Chudidar (trousers) and took the same colour Dupatta on his shoulders. The open shoes he chose for the occasion were white with golden work done over them. In short, Amar looked every bit a royal prince ready to run away with his bride on a horse.
Dhivya was dressed up like a traditional Hindu bride in a dark maroon Lehnga and a golden Choli. The combination of gold and maroon looked awesome and complimented her fair complexion fabulously. She had taken a sheer dupatta with a golden border on her head that gave her a very beautiful and innocent look. Dhivya had worn beautiful golden jewellery studded with white gemstones.
There were many rituals in the ceremony including the Jaimala, Sindoor and the Phere. All the guests had lots of enjoyment during the ceremony where the bride and the groom are asked to pick up a coin from a vessel containing milky liquid. It was a perfect event representing Asian wedding in its original form.
All the guests enjoyed the sumptuous food and the drinks after the marriage. They danced and made merry with even the bride and the groom dancing to the tunes of English and Bollywood music.
After the marriage, we got a chance to take some lovely candid photographs of the couple in their wedding & reception attire. For their reception, Amar wore a white formal coat and black trousers while Dhivya looked stunning in an off the shoulder blue dress adorned with beads and embroidery. Both looked relaxed after their wedding and gave us the most beautiful and romantic poses.
It was a truly memorable wedding and The VIP Studio played its part in creating wonderful memories for the couple through its Asian wedding photography service.
